On behalf of the Christians in the Holy Land, the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF) extends a warm thanks to the many contributors who have responded to our Christmas Appeal!
HCEF has provided funds to clergy in the Bethlehem area so that they will be able to give gifts to each of the children in their churches. Thanks to your generosity, the 3,500 children living in and around Bethlehem will have a very special Christmas gift this year from their Christian family around the world! These gifts were purchased locally and will send a powerful message of hope to the children of Bethlehem. These children usually experience a Christmas like none other – pilgrims from all over the world coming to worship in the place where Jesus was born! This year, the children live under a military curfew and are unable to attend school or visit their friends and relatives. Receiving a gift from Christians outside Bethlehem is a sign of great hope for them that Christians everywhere know of their desperation and are holding them in their prayers. Please continue to pray that these faithful Christians will be able to gather in their churches for worship on Christmas day!

The children in the Bethlehem area will receive gifts for Christmas. Let us help these families and all of the Christian families in the Holy Land to know the support of their Christian family in the world.
