Message From the pastor of Birzeit Parish, “Queen of Peace” Fr. Iyad Twal
Dear friends,
“It’s the war” was the reason for Yacoub (a boy in grade one, 6 years old) to spend the morning crying at our school…!
It is so difficult to share with you, what we are going through these days of worries, pain and fear. Some of us started even to say his final goodbyes, some came to confess for his first time in life, some just think that we can live with having more bread in the house!, the rest maybe are trying to survive without thinking or praying because it gets harder on them, they assume that they won’t find an answer…
On behalf of our community, I ask you please to keep praying for them, for their safety and peace and in our region. I have full faith and confidence in the Providence, the spirit is ready, but Lord let us praise your name for your graces and protection!
