It has become a tradition that HCEF Senior Citizens Day Care center in Birzeit organize such an event to stand in solidarity and companionship with senior citizen from around the world and to reaffirm the requirements as well as aspirations of the elderly population of the Christian community in particular and the Palestinian community at large.

The dinner started at 5:30 at the Orthodox Club in Ramallah, where Christian senior citizens celebrated with their fellow Muslim senior citizens the month of Ramadan yet another example of cultural diversity and tolerance amongst the Palestine community especially nowadays when the political conditions are rendering the whole atmosphere dark and grim.
