CMEP April 20-22 Advocacy Conference Calming the Storm: Middle East Peacemaking in a Turbulent Time

Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University and Lutheran Church of the Reformation Washington, DC

Advocates from churches around the country are invited to participate. This ecumenical conference will focus on US policy and Middle East peacemaking with speakers, workshops, denominational gatherings, advocacy preparation and a day of lobbying your elected officials. Highlights of the program include a Sunday evening program with Bishop Mark Hanson of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a Congressional Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday hosted by Reps. David Price (D-NC) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) together with Christian leaders. Workshops will cover various issues, including the status of Palestinian Christians with Dr. Bernard Sabella.
