HCEF is committed to building bridges of peace through dialogue and action. Our conference theme this year is “Living the Faith: Promoting Peace and Human Security in the Holy Land.”  The conference is a call to encourage people to become more proactive in the pursuit of peace and human security. Through this conference we believe we can significantly impact the region by providing an atmosphere for interreligious dialogue and lay concrete foundations that will promote peace and human security in the Holy Land (Conference Program).

I write to you specifically as someone who would be interested in one of the focus points of this year’s conference: Business Opportunities and the Investing Environment in Palestine. (Forum Session Descriptions)

There is no doubt that the Palestinian people need change from the roots up – a rebirth. Building a society depends upon building a network of support through investment in humanitarian, cultural, and material progress.  HCEF’s vision and practice have always strengthened cooperation, solidarity, and human interaction between the people of the United States and those of Palestine. In this critical moment where Palestinians seek to unite their efforts toward building a Palestinian state based on justice, peace, and equality, HCEF offers the opportunity for people from all walks of life to become key players in the process (Investment Forum Objectives).

Business leaders from Palestine understand the importance of providing the necessary pillars on which the national economy can be built. They have been developing standards of practice and educational methods which empower Palestinian businesses to meet the challenges of an emergent economy and to ready them for international cooperation and competition.

At HCEF’s 12th International Conference, these business leaders partner with HCEF to provide a panel and a workshop that emphasize the importance of promoting investment in Palestine with the cooperation of Palestinian, Arab-American, and other businesspeople in the United States.

Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from these distinguished speakers and engage them in discussion about the Palestinian economy and its local and international institutions such as: Bank of Palestine, Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, World Bank, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Several other Palestinian businesses and institutions will be represented both in person and through their publications.

Register Online for the conference today, or for more information about the Business Opportunities and Investment Forum contact Rula Dababneh, HCEF’s Palestinian/Arab American Outreach Coordinator at 301-283-1600 or by email: rdababneh@hcef.org

Be part of building an independent Palestine that befits the message that came from Palestine 2,000 years ago – a message of love, cooperation, coexistence, and peace. We can only achieve it if we do it together. Let’s unite for the future of Palestine and help HCEF achieve its goal of replacing despair with hope, fear with security, and humiliation with human dignity.
We look forward to meeting you!

Best Regards,
