Mosul – Several Christian refugees from the city of Mosul reveal that they have been blackmailed by self-styled militants of the Islamic State, who have threatened to blow up their houses from which they were forced to flee if they are not willing to promptly pay a sum of money. The recurrence of this type of blackmail by phone, denounced by the victims to the www.ankawa.com arabic site, is just the latest of the violence suffered by those who fled Mosul after the second city fell under the control of jihadist militants of the Islamic State, on June 9.
