"We have to take care of all the questions and demands that come from our people". This is the message that Coptic Orthodox Patriarch Tawadros II wanted to launch on Thursday, May 21 during the first Conference which he convened to address all issues related to the development of the Coptic community in diaspora.
The program of the conference – held in the Monastery of St. Paul the Hermit, not far from the Red Sea – intends to outline some guidelines for the development of Coptic communities around the world for the next 25 years. In his speech, Pope Tawadros stressed the need to work so that the canonical and ecclesiastical structures are always placed at the service of the dynamics at work in the ecclesial life, wherever it is present.
