“We are surrounded with a great cloud of witnesses.  For two thousand years, the church has provided a constant, powerful witness to the world in Jerusalem.  It has had its ups and its downs.  Yet, it has never become discouraged and has never despaired.  It has been faithful to its heritage.

The witness began with Jesus commissioning his disciples on the nearby Mount of Olives.  That witness traveled to Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.  Two thousand years later, the witness continues in Jerusalem.”
