I am one of the thousands of Birzeit University students who suffer everyday traveling to and from Birzeit University.  And with these few words I’m writing, I to tell you one case that happens and has happened with most of the students.  I am a citizen of Beit Sahour, studying Architect Engineering in Birzeit.  It used to take me one hour to reach Birziet University, but now it takes me four hours as a Minimum period.  Last time it took me twelve hours to get there!!!!!! Without mentioning, how rough the way was and the numbers of barriers that we faced.  I rent a house in Birzeit.  But now, the Israeli army has set up a barrier through the way from Rammallah to Birzeit.  The army chooses when to let us pass and when to prevent us.  In addition, we have to walk for almost 20 minutes to reach the barrier and then another 15 minutes to reach the nearest taxi because of the piles of soil and rocks and even concrete they put in the way.  They insult us; turn out our bags, including our private belongingness, especially the girls.  Which means that it is a risk when you go home alone and that we have to spend the weekend their as we cannot reach our home town, or we spent the weekend on the road where it takes forever to try and return home.  So now there is no studying at the University!!

This is a simple description with no sufficient details.   But it is the case of Birzeit students and even worse that what I try to bring to you.
