    HCEF Joins the 2008
    Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

The Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation is pleased to announce our participation in the 2008 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

As the world's largest and most successful annual workplace giving campaign, each year, more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally help to raise millions of dollars. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The Director of OPM has designated to the Office of CFC Operations (OCFCO) responsibility for day to day management of the CFC.

Our HCEF members and volunteers can help us maximize the benefit of this exciting opportunity through the following efforts:

    * Direct CFC Contributions -- If you are a government employee/military personnel, designate HCEF (#10897) as your charity of choice.  Ask your government-employed/military friends and colleagues to do the same.

    * Church Notices -- Place a notice in your church newsletter or ask your Priest/Pastor to announce HCEF's participation in the CFC.

    * Workplace Marketing --  While posters and other direct marketing material cannot be displayed at government workplaces (unless approved by the Department Head), employees may distribute brochures and other informational materials about charities. The HCEF has a number of materials that we can provide to you to share with your colleagues.

We are looking towards a very successful Campaign. Thank you and God Bless.
