Advocates from churches around the country are invited to participate. This ecumenical conference will focus on US policy and Middle East peacemaking with speakers, workshops, denominational gatherings, advocacy preparation and a day of lobbying your elected officials. Highlights of the program include a Sunday evening program with Bishop Mark Hanson of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a Congressional Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday hosted by Reps. David Price (D-NC) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) together with Christian leaders. Workshops will cover various issues, including the status of Palestinian Christians with Dr. Bernard Sabella.
