Ecuador Earthquake Relief ‘Helping Hand’ Campaign

The Ecuador Earthquake Relief “Helping Hand” Campaign is supported by the HCEF and the DC chapter of the Federation of Ecuadorian Entities Abroad (FEDEE) to extend a helping hand to the victims of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the Andean country on April 16th. The latest reports estimate there are at least 630 dead and more than 5,000 wounded, many of whom are now homeless. This campaign aims to provide building materials to 100 families who lost everything during the devastating earthquake.

The Ecuador Earthquake Relief Helping Hand Campaign goals

  • Rebuild 30 semi destroyed Homes

  • Build 30 New Homes to families with at least two children

  • Provide construction material to 40 families to build their Homes

  • Generate Income to 600 Family Members

  • Create 500 Working Opportunities

  • Change the life of 1100 Family Members


What: Fundraising Lunch and Cocktail Party

Where: 13800 Blair Stone Ln.

When: Saturday April 30, 2016 Time: 12 Noon – 6:00 pm

Who: FEDEE, Washington DC Chapter and The Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF)

NOTE: Lunch will be served from Noon to 3:00 pm. There will be live music by local artists, auctions of original art paints, raffles, 50/50 game, among other activities.

A minimum donation of $20 will cover lunch
