With this brief letter we would like, first of all, to wish all of you an Advent season full of joy and peace, with prayers for a blessed new year. We want to inform you that, although our 2001 Christmas prayer letter was prepared and mailed the first week of December, mail delivery to and from the West Bank Palestinian areas has been frozen due to the deteriorating political situation and we cannot predict when service will resume.

Dear friends of BBC,

With this brief letter we would like, first of all, to wish all of you an Advent season full of joy and peace, with prayers for a blessed new year. We want to inform you that, although our 2001 Christmas prayer letter was prepared and mailed the first week of December, mail delivery to and from the West Bank Palestinian areas has been frozen due to the deteriorating political situation and we cannot predict when service will resume. We suspect that the letters are still sitting in the Bethlehem post office as of today. With this in mind, we would like to encourage all of you to visit our website at www.bethlehembiblecollege.edu

We hope to post the Christmas prayer letter at the site by Saturday 22 December (the office will be closed for the holidays from Saturday 22 December until Thursday 10 January 2002). You can access it by following the link “Our Latest Newsletter” which can be found approximately two-thirds of the way down along the left-hand side of the home page. If you find that the letter has not yet been posted, please try again as much as necessary over the holidays. The letter turned out exceptionally well this year, with a new format and several photographs, and we are especially eager for all of you to see it. We pray it will be a blessing to you this Christmas season.
