altIt was on January 6, 1988, at St. Peter’s  Basilica in Rome that now Patriarch Emeritus Michel Sabbah was ordained Bishop by Pope John Paul II.  Twenty five years later, Pope Benedict XVI sends his apostolic blessing to Patriarch Sabbah as he celebrated the silver jubilee of his Episcopal ordination on Sunday, January 6, 2013.

Along with the Holy Father’s wishes, His Beatitude Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Auxiliary Bishops, Vicars, clergy, men and women religious and the lay faithful of the Latin Patriarchate send best wishes and congratulations to Patriarch Sabbah on this special occasion.
