From Jerusalem city of prayer and peace

We express our solidarity with all Syrian citizens, Christian and Muslim. We confirm our solidarity and appeal to all the forces in the area to acknowledge their human responsibility to end the bloodshed and destruction.

We support Syria in our prayers in Jerusalem, and we ask God to intervene and end this war quickly. In the name of God, we appeal to the kidnappers of Bishop Boulos Yazigi and Bishop John Ibrahim, and exhort them to have mercy.

We express our love and our solidarity with our brother Bishop Boulos Yazigi and Bishop John Ibrahim, and ask God to continue to keep and comfort them, and send them relief. We believe that God is greater than all the evil present in this earth together we pray and appeal to Him for their release and for these forces of destruction and death, in Syria and the entire Arab region to come to an end.

Here in Jerusalem we are praying for you all and asking God to show His mercy, His strength and  His love for all of you and to restore life, liberty and the dignity of every Syrian.

We thank God for illuminating the hearts, consciences and minds of His creation that we should do good and be kind to one another, not rendering evil for evil.  This is the prayer and heart’s cry of Jerusalem.
