Palestine is gaining more coverage on the news daily for reasons we’re all familiar with: increased tensions in the holy city of Jerusalem, violent clashes throughout the land, land confiscations, and more. All of these have gravely negative consequences for the Christians of the Holy Land.

The Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF) has been dedicated to caring for Palestinian Christians over the past 17 years. Throughout that time there have been a myriad of transformations in the region, but one thing has always remained consistent – the Christian population is shrinking. Today, Christians make up less than 1.5% of the total population of the Holy Land. Why has this been happening? Many families tell us they feel they have no choice but to leave. They feel like they have been forgotten.

HCEF has chosen to remember the forgotten faithful. Will you remember them too?

It is HCEF’s mission to show Palestinian Christians that they have not been forgotten, and even more to show them that they are honored. We recognize that they are the ancestors of the first followers of Christ, keepers of the faith. We believe that Christians all over the world should honor them as well and support a sustained Christian presence in the land of Christ. We owe it to them for preserving our holy traditions and keeping the gospel alive for over two-thousand years!

Let’s come together and do something about the news we hear and read every day on the television, radio and online. Let us make a difference and show Palestinian Christians that they are the remembered faithful!
