A delegation from the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) in Jerusalem visited Bethlehem University to sign a service agreement.

The agreement includes providing students from the IFMSA with the Basic Life Support (BLS) Course at the American Heart Association International Training Center for cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the Clinical Simulation Center at the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences / Bethlehem University.

Dean of the Faculty Mrs. Mariam Awad welcomed the delegation on campus and thanked them for their interest in taking the BLS Course.

Vice Chancellor Brother Peter Bray said that the University is committed to serving the Palestinian people through education.

He added that the Faculty of Nursing has become the most popular Faculty and its Clinical Simulation Center was a significant development as it gave the opportunity to offer people from outside campus to use these facilities.

“We look forward to a rich engagement with the IMFSA,” concluded Brother Peter.

The IMFSA – Jerusalem president Osama Darras thanked the University for providing this service and introduced the IFMSA and its programs.

The IFMSA is one of the world’s oldest and largest student-run organizations. It represents, connects and engages every day with medical students.
