Heads of Churches in Jordan visit the Greater Amman Municipality.

The heads of Churches in Jordan visited the Greater Amman Municipality on Saturday, January 4, and met with Mayor Dr. Yousef Al Shawarbeh.

During the meeting, the heads of churches extended greeting on the advent of the New Year 2020 and thanked the municipality for allocating an 11-dunum plot of land in Shafa Badran to serve as a new cemetery.

The bishops and priests also expressed their appreciation for the municipal restoration of the ancient Ashrafiya Cemetery and the presentation of a decorated Christmas tree to every Church.

The visit included discussing a plethora of issues of common interest.
