CAIRO, May 10 – Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese received Sunday a phone call from Pope Francis of the Vatican during which they exchanged greetings on the occasion of the day of fraternal love between the Catholic and Coptic Orthodox Churches.
Pope Francis’ call marked the seventh anniversary of his meeting with Tawadros II in Rome on May 10, 2013, which has become an annual celebration of fraternal love between both churches, Spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church Priest Paul Halim said.
