RAMALLAH – His Beatitude Pierbattista Pizzaballa is continuing his pastoral visits, as Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, to the parishes of the diocese. On February 7, 2021, he visited the Holy Family Parish in Ramallah where he was welcomed by the parish priest Fr. Jamal Khader, the Pastoral Council, the mayor and the parishioners.

After the welcoming, Patriarch Pizzaballa celebrated Holy Mass at the parish church. The Mass, which took place according to health regulations, was also concelebrated by Bishop Boulos Marcuzzo, Fr. Ibrahim Shomali, Fr. Firas Abedrabbo and Fr. Rimon Haddad.

After the Mass, greetings to the Latin Patriarch were offered by the parishioners; religious, national and governmental institutions including Dr. Mai al-Kaila, Palestinian Health Minister, and Dr. Laila Ghanam, Governor of Ramallah and al-Bireh.

Patriarch concluded the day with a visit to the Sisters of St. Joseph.
