Dear Latin Patriarchate Schools,

Members of the administrative and educational, our beloved students, respected parents,

Best regards and best wishes.

I am pleased, with the entire team of the General Administration of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Palestine, to welcome you all for this new academic year 2022-2023, after a long vacation filled with joy, happiness, comfort, and diverse experiences. I ask God to turn this new year into a good and safe year, full of diligence and success.

Hope is what sharpens minds, strengthens wills, and stimulates creativity. The strength of beginnings leads to splendid endings. To achieve excellence and success with renewed determination; this is what we wish for the family of the Patriarchate Schools at the beginning of this new academic year.

Our mission for the schools of the Latin Patriarchate is to care for human beings: students being the focus of our educational and learning process, and teachers being the cornerstone of the success of this mission. We therefore make sure that the amount of our school fees takes into account all segments of society, in light of the difficult economic conditions. This year we also requested a financial allowance for administrative and educational staff, given the high cost of living. All this is based on our conviction that the schools of the Latin Patriarchate have a great mission that guides their path and nourishes faith, morals and science, far from the material aspect.

With the beginning of this new academic year, I would also like to emphasize that our schools are ready to receive our dear students, taking into account their right to education and to a healthy environment, and keeping in mind that we are working and mission partners with parents, in a spirit of high responsibility, to serve our students.

We renew our thanks and appreciation to the administrative and educational staff in all our schools, for their tireless work, their authentic affiliation, and their unremitting follow-up, despite the great difficulties and challenges they have faced. They have all our appreciation and respect.

Finally, we call upon everyone, teachers, administrators, students, parents and the local community, to work together in order to contribute to raising a generation capable of serving and advancing their country. May God guide us toward what is good and distinguish our students.

With my affection and respect,

Fr. Yacoub Rafidi

General Director of the Latin Patriarchate Schools – Palestine
