Caritas Jordan and the Latin Patriarchate schools signed a partnership agreement on Monday, October 31, 2022.
The agreement aims to support preschool education in Jordan by integrating psychosocial support, maintaining contacts with parents, and providing inclusive education through the Latin Monastery School in Al-Hashemi, eastern Amman. The agreement also encompasses the inclusion of children with disabilities in kindergartens (4-6 years) while working to create a safe and healthy educational environment for students by providing facilitates to the infrastructure of the kindergarten so as to function in building up the capacities of teachers and staff, as well as in integrating students’ families.
The agreement was signed by Director of Caritas Jordan Wael Suleiman, and Director of the Latin Patriarchate schools in Jordan Fr. Dr. Firas Nasrawin in the presence of Executive Director of Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan Ms. Samar Smeirat.
The agreement is part of several educational projects implemented by Caritas Jordan in partnership with Caritas Germany.
