The children of the Friends School gave musical performances to elders of Birzeit Social Development and Cultural Center

Birzeit – Saturday 11/12/2022 In a festive atmosphere, the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF), in coordination with the Friends School Ramallah, organized a ceremony on the International Day of Elders, which falls on the first of October of the current year. The ceremony was organized at Birzeit Social Development and Cultural Center (BSCC) with the participation of 28 Fifth grade students for elders of Birzeit Center, in the presence of the Friends faculty and members of the advisory and administrative committee of BSCC

Mrs. Najwa Khoury, Director of the BSCC, indicated that it is necessary to work collectively and effectively to support elders and work to integrate them into the local community, as they are a major part of the process of building the state and the Palestinian person. She also expressed cooperation and participation with all institutions concerned with the affairs of elders in order to support and develop them, as they are The bridge linking the Palestinian people with their past, present and future.

Mr. Issa Al-Jalda performed musical and lyrical performances with the students with the participation of elders, which added joy, joy, and happiness to their faces. At the end of the ceremony, they offered a group breakfast and sweets for all.

The BSCC, management and members, extends many thanks to the Friends School and the teaching staff for their cooperation with us, for their efforts in providing distinguished paragraphs for elders, and for following up and guiding the students and instilling values, morals and respect from students for elders with constant love and giving.
