For three days in a row we live our lives at a stand still, still we are under the Israeli incursion and curfew imposed across our district. Each day we wake up hoping there will be no Israeli troops in the town. Disappointingly, they are continuing house-to-house search and arrests in Beit Sahour and the neighboring villages.

There is not much new news to pass on to you, it has been the same for so many months now. It is a mad conflict and we do not know were we are headed to. It is a depressing life, not knowing what the future has in store.

Our lives are filled with fear from the continuation of Sharon’s policy to demolish the integrity and hope in our souls, we just try to stay alive and provide for our families, but it is so hard. We do not have much hope in achieving our freedom, but despite all of what is happening around us, we take strength from within and especially from the support you all give us. We believe some day justice and freedom will prevail upon the Holy country of Palestine. We pray that the mask of Sharon’s face of peace will soon be removed and the Israeli citizens and the world will see the reality of Sharon’s policy against the unarmed Palestinians is the way to war and not fight against terror.

I do hope I have better news for you tomorrow.

Please keep us in your prayers.
