 Voices from HCEF’s 10th Conference – IntroThe Holy land Christian Ecumenical Foundation held its 10th International Conference on October 24-25, 2008. The theme, “A Decade of Seeking Peace: Pursuing Hope, Security and Human Dignity,” reflected on HCEF’s ten years of service to Arab Christian communities in the Holy Land — Palestine, Israel and Jordan. In this segment, HCEF Communications Director Zachary Wales introduces the “Voices from HCEF’s 10th Conference” series.  

Bill Corcoran at HCEF’s 10th Conference: Bill Corcoran, the President of the American Near East Refugee Agency (ANERA), mentions his forthcoming panel on using development for economic viability in the Holy Land.

 
 Anna Baltzer at HCEF’s 10th Conference: Anna Baltzer, author of “Witness in Palestine: A Jewish American Woman in the Occupied Territories,” speaks about the importance of Christians in the Holy Land.  
Ori Nir at HCEF’s 10th Conference: Americans for Peace Now’s Spokesperson Ori Nir talks about the two-state solution. Mr. Nir, who is Israeli, shared a panel on the two-state solution with American Task Force for Palestine’s president, Dr. Ziad Asali.  
Fr. Majdi Syriani at HCEF’s 10th Conference: Father Majdi Syriani is an HCEF co-founder and currently runs the Latin Patriarchate School system in the Holy Land.  
Rocio Rabie at HCEF’s 10th Conference: Rocio Rabie shares her decade of experiences and hope in working with HCEF. Ms. Rabie has worked with HCEF since its inception.  
Pamela Trush at HCEF’s 10th Conference: Pamela Trush is a committed volunteer and talented graphic designer with HCEF, who also heads HCEF’s Holy Land Christian Support Network in New Hampshire.  
Lauren Funk at HCEF’s 10th Conference: David Gregory is a junior undergraduate student at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and head of Catholic Daughters’ campus chapter.  
David Gregory at HCEF’s 10th Conference: David Gregory is a junior undergraduate student at Georgetown University and is involved in the campus’ Knights of Columbus chapter.
