The only Christian member of the Israeli parliament has filed a complaint with the legal advisor of the government against a television station which aired several segments that satirised key aspects of Christianity.

In his complaint Hana Sweid, a member of the Hadash Party, said on 18 February that late-night entertainment programme host Lior Shlein violated the law by offending religious sensitivities.
