A Catholic news agency has joined forced with the Franciscan Multimedia Center to distribute videos and information from the Holy Land.

The Franciscan center is a production hub for video reports about the region, and is promoted by the Custody of the Holy Land. It has now teamed up with H2O News to distribute its work.

Videos will be published in eight languages, including English, and distributed by H2O through the Web and TV stations that are part of its network.

Holy Land Custos Franciscan Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa welcomed the deal, saying it is “strategic and fundamental.”

“We have a production center but we need to distribute, to make this news known around the world,” he said. “H20 is this channel, which will permit us to bring to the Catholic world news from the Holy Land.”

The reports can be viewed directly at the H20 Web site, or that of the Holy Land Custody.
