Pax Christi International submitted a written intervention on the Land Rights of the Bedouin Minority in Israel before the Human Rights Council in Geneva (item 3 , 15th session: 13 Sept. – 1 Oct. 2010).

 

Pax Christi International would like to draw the attention of the Human Rights Council to the gross and systematic violation of the land rights of the Bedouin minority in the state of Israel which are meant to be international law.

 

For more than a decade, state planning in Israel has systematically excluded the Bedouin people in the development and implementation of land allocation, zoning and construction policies in the Negev.
