In HCEF’s continuous effort to create opportunities for self-improvement and capacity building for Palestinian society, we are pleased to announce our interactive workshops developed on the topic of Women’s Empowerment for the local community.
Facilitator: Christine Hill Hobbi, a member of Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, has just joined the HCEF. She and others in the Presbyterian Church are passionate about working with HCEF to have a more direct impact on creating opportunities and improving the conditions in Palestine. Topics for this 1/2 day workshop include:
- “Why YOU Are An Essential Piece”– goals, dreams & future hopes of Palestinian women and understanding how much influence we as women can & do have on those around us.
- “What Gets in the Way of Empowerment?” – identifying ways to overcome our problems & accomplish our goals.
- “Understanding Me – Understanding You” – learning about personalities & how it can help us in leading/influencing others.
- “The Big Picture”– activity with a team of ‘sisters’ and future action plan for each woman.
