Birzeit, Palestine – On Saturday, November 11th, a group of American pilgrims from Boston, Massachusetts, led by Father John Predmore, visited Birzeit Social Development and Cultural Center (BSCC) as part of their HCEF-organized pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

BSCC Elders warmly welcomed the 23 pilgrims, captivating them with their life stories. BSCC Elders are heirs to a longstanding and honorable legacy as the descendants of the first followers of Christ. For hundreds of years, their families have preserved and fomented the teachings of Jesus in the land of Christianity’s birth. For this reason, BSCC Elders take pride in their Palestinian identity, advocating for their community’s right to exist.

During their visit, the pilgrims accompanied the Elders in their daily activities, including playing bingo, singing traditional songs, sharing stories, and dancing Dabkeh. The group ended by breaking bread together over a delicious traditional Palestinian meal.
