Under the patronage of Princess Alia Tabbaa, Caritas Jordan held an iftar banquet on Tuesday May 29, in cooperation with the Promise Welfare Society at the Garden of Mercy in Our Lady of Peace Center, Amman. Present at the iftar banquet were over 300 children and their mothers.
Princess Alia was received by Caritas Director Wael Suleiman and Director of the Promise Welfare Society Azmi Shaheen, Mr. Nabil Kharman and a team of the Promise Welfare Society employees.
Following the iftar banquet, Princess Alia presented schoolbags to all the students.
This iftar banquet falls within the framework of the activities conducted by Caritas Jordan during the holy month of Ramadan, It is part of its annual Ramadan campaign designed to extend aid to the needy Jordanian families in various parts of the Kingdom.
