STATEMENT – On Sunday morning April 21, 2019, terror attacks hit churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, killing at least 120 people and injuring hundreds.

How difficult, angry, and sad these news are, especially as these attacks came while Christians celebrate Easter!

We pray for the souls of the victims and ask for speedy recovery of the injured, and ask God to inspire the terrorists to repent for their killing and intimidation.

We also express our solidarity with Sri Lanka and all its inhabitants in their various religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Despite great sorrow, we shall celebrate and rejoice the Resurrection of Christ and give hope to others, especially to those who are desperate.

Christ is Risen! Truly, He is Risen!

Happy Easter!
