BEIT JALA – His Beatitude Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa, visited the Latin Patriarchal Seminary in Beit Jala, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, for the first time after officially taking possession of the See of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
Accompanied by a delegation of priests from the Patriarchate, the seminarians, sisters, and a number of the priests welcomed the Patriarch in a friendly gathering. The seminarians expressed their happiness of receiving a new Patriarch, to guide them through their journey in the seminary.
In his turn, Patriarch Pizaballa expressed his gratitude for the warm welcoming he received. Talking to the seminarians, he underscored the importance of the teaching they receive, as the seminary is the beating heart of the diocese.
