BEIT JALA – As in every year, the Latin Patriarchal Seminary of Beit Jala opens its new academic year with a slogan from the Bible. This year, the seminary chose a verse from the Gospel of Matthew: “Give them yourselves something to eat” (Mt 14: 16), which the seminary’s priest formators founding fitting considering the pandemic-related closures and the financial and religious crises that the region face.
