The Caritas Jordan Training Unit, in cooperation with the Institute for Family Health/ King Hussein Foundation, has concluded a successful training workshop on communication skills and societal changes. The workshop targeted a group of nutritionists working in various Caritas centers, with the aim of improving the nutritional behavior of beneficiaries as well as enhancing the relevant societal impact.

The workshop dealt with enhancing communication skills in order to influence nutritional behavior, while focusing on health challenges associated with nutrition and how to deal with them. The sessions also included a discussion of the factors that impede adherence to the provided food programs, and a review of innovative solutions intended to overcome these difficulties.

During the workshop, held at the Young Women Christian Association, nutritional counseling skills were applied which contributed to enhancing the efficiency of the participants in dealing with different types of beneficiaries.

The Caritas Jordan Training Unit  will continue to cooperate with the partners and the parties that support its activities in order to organize more events and training programs that enhance skills and build the capabilities of the working teams in line with the nature of work and the mission of Caritas Jordan.
