The Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF), in collaboration with Haya Washington (HAYA), BUTEEKH, and the Know Thy Heritage (KTH) initiative, has successfully distributed 125 food parcels to families in need across the West Bank, Palestine. This effort addresses the severe hardships caused by ongoing conflict, economic collapse, and rising unemployment, which have plunged many families into poverty and insecurity.

The distribution of these parcels comes at a critical time, as countless households face daily struggles to access essential resources. Each food parcel, designed to sustain a family of six for an entire month, includes staples such as rice, flour, oil, sugar, and canned goods. These have been distributed to families in areas including Ramallah, Jenien, and Birzeit, as well as many Gazan laborers and families unable to return to Gaza due to restrictive conditions.

Sir Rateb Rabie, KCHS, President and CEO of HCEF, and KTH emphasized the severe challenges faced by Palestinians, which are exacerbated by the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, the occupation, and rising global prices. He highlighted how these factors intensify the hardships for workers, farmers, and families in the West Bank and Gaza, making initiatives like this food distribution essential to provide immediate relief.

HCEF and its partners remain committed to supporting vulnerable Palestinian communities. By addressing urgent needs, they aim to ease the burdens on families struggling to survive in increasingly dire circumstances.

In light of the ongoing crisis, HCEF appeals to compassionate individuals worldwide to contribute generously. Donations can be made at https://hcef.org/donate/ to support future humanitarian efforts aimed at uplifting Palestinian families.
