Dear brothers and sisters,
A Christmas Call to Action: Help Us Bring Hope to the Holy Land
This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I write to you with an urgent plea. The ongoing conflict in the Holy Land has left Palestinian Christians facing unprecedented hardship and instability. The situation is dire, and your support is needed now more than ever to safeguard lives and provide critical aid.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Many Palestinian Christian families, Catholics, Orthodox and Protestant once sustained by the pilgrimage economy, now find themselves without any means of support. With the collapse of tourism, unemployment and poverty have surged, leaving countless families struggling to meet basic needs—food, shelter, and security. The land of Christ’s birth, once a beacon of faith and tradition, now faces the heartbreaking reality of a dwindling Christian community.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
Your financial contribution this Christmas can be an answer to their prayers. With your help, we can provide immediate relief—food, shelter, and security—to those in need. More than that, your generosity will offer hope and help build resilience for the future.
Your past support has already brought comfort and aid to many in the Holy Land. I invite you to continue this vital work with a generous gift to help us. Together, we can ensure that the light of Christ continues to shine in the land where He was born.
Your tax-deductible support—whether $25, $50, $100, $125, $250, $500, $1,000, or any amount you can give—makes a transformative difference. Please send your donation using the enclosed envelope or donate online at www.hcef.org.
Christ was born to us so that we know that God understands human suffering and that God dreams of a more loving world for us.
God Bless you and your family this Christmas season,
