JORDAN – From May 6 – 8, 2019, the Real Madrid Foundation organized training sessions in Fuheis and Madaba for nine physical education teachers from different schools of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
On April 26, 2016, the Real Madrid Foundation and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem signed an agreement to implement training of coaches in Latin Patriarchate schools. The aim of this agreement is to promote positive values and professional sports techniques in students.
These three days of training, led by Miguel Ángel Montoya Vázquez, football coach of the Real Madrid Foundation, included theoretical courses on the ethical values of sport and sports’ practice times in order to give participants sporting and educational techniques always more professional.
The training also included a brainstorming session on teamwork, a key element in team sports.
“The goal of this project is to teach different students the values of sport while having fun. This is the common denominator of the project,” says Miguel Ángel Montoya Vázquez.
At the end of the training, certificates were distributed to the participants and gifts to the students present during the three days.
