JERUSALEM – On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and for the first time in almost two years, one Knight and one Dame, coming from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in the USA, received from Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa the Pilgrim Shell at the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
The Latin Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa received and met the Order 4-member delegation, who came through the Holy Land Travel Center, accompanied by a group of 9 pilgrims. It was a special moment since pilgrimage came to a halt for almost two years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, His Beatitude talked to the pilgrims about the realities of people living in the four countries of the Holy Land and the importance of not only receiving financial support, but of making pilgrimages and being present among the Christians of the Holy Land.
