Today and every day Israel is committing many crimes against unarmed Palestinians and at the same time Palestinians are committing crimes against unarmed Israelis. I believe we are heading for a very deep cycle of bloodshed from both sides where only the innocent are caught in the middle and are loosing their lives.
Today and every day Israel is committing many crimes against unarmed Palestinians and at the same time Palestinians are committing crimes against unarmed Israelis. I believe we are heading for a very deep cycle of bloodshed from both sides where only the innocent are caught in the middle and are loosing their lives.
What happened today in Jerusalem is out of our imagination; we can’t stand the killing of innocents on either side. We are afraid of our destiny; we are worried for the future of all human beings in Palestine and Israel. Those of us who believe that only fair negotiations will bring peace and justice for both sides are disturbed at this critical deterioration of the political conflict. It is driving us all into a well of blood where only the innocent loose their lives.
Those civilians from Israel and Palestine who are killed by a mad conflict and both sides have mothers who raised them to become the future of their country. To build and look forward to a life of prosperity not a life full of blood.
Again, we humans of God raise our voice to reiterate our condemnation of any act of terror that targets civilians, all of whom are God’s Creatures. But until when are we going to witness such acts form both sides? Israel is building a wall around us, fencing us in, to prevent any Palestinian from entering inside Israel. But do you believe that by separating the two people will provide security to Israeli citizens? ‘Security’ is all that is in Sharon’s mind, but without peace between the two states can be no security established. Those suicide bombers can be found anywhere and from inside Israel. The situation is beyond control. We see a mother on TV, saying farewell to her son and she is supporting him to go and kill inside Israel and to kill himself at the same time. This is because we Palestinians have no hope with Sharon’s government to give us freedom to live in our state and to have peace and prosperity.
I share with deep feelings the grief of all Israeli mothers’ who lost a child due to the act committed by a Palestinian. But I also share the grief of the Palestinian mother whose son was sniped and killed by the Israeli soldiers yesterday in al Khader village near Bethlehem, and all the innocent Palestinians killed by the occupying army of Israel.
This all must stop. The assassinations from the Israeli army against the Palestinians and the assassination from Palestinians against Israelis must immediately stop.
We only want to live in peace and to be given the chance to bring up our children in their ancestors land, looking forward to a brighter future. But I believe we are being driven away from our homes and those of us who can emigrate elsewhere are now doing so and those who have nowhere else to go are to be forced to live under the most brutal life we have ever faced in our history.
