On Monday, October 24, 2022 Caritas Jordan and Talal Abu Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum signed a cooperation agreement.

 The agreement aims to attain a partnership between Caritas Jordan and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global designed to conduct various capacity building programs and professional services, as well as enhancing the fruitful cooperation between Caritas Jordan and the Talal Abu Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum in its capacity as an intellectual, cultural and economic forum that serves the youth in the field of awareness, education, and dialogue to ensure a promising future for the Jordanian youth.

The agreement was signed by Caritas Jordan Director Mr. Wael Suleiman and Executive Director of Talal Abu Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum Mr. Fadi Daoud in the presence of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the chairman and founder of the international Jordan-based organization, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, and Director of the Catholic Center for Studies and Media Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader.

In attendance at the signing ceremony, which took place at Caritas Jordan main offices in Jabal Amman, were General Director of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan Fr. Dr. Firas Nasrawin, Mr. Osama Imseih, and Caritas Jordan members of staff.

Caritas Jordan has all the time been striving to  sign cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding in order to upgrade its services to the Jordanian population in the hope setting the youth on the right track for a fruitful and productive future, as well as to present services to the needy in neighboring countries.

A recent memorandum of understanding (MOU  was signed on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, by Caritas Jordan and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) designed to carry out a number of relief and humanitarian projects intended to serve the local community and refugees in Jordan. Upon signing the MoU, Caritas Jordan Director Wa’el Suleiman stressed the importance of continued support and promotion of humanitarian efforts designed to help the needy and the marginalized especially during disasters and humanitarian crises. On the sidelines of the MOU, a shipment of medicines was sent to Lebanon with the aim of supporting the brethren in Lebanon, where donations were collected from a number of activities carried out by Caritas Jordan in coordination with the JHCO.

It is worthy to note that Caritas Jordan launches its winter campaign every year which includes presenting humanitarian aid to needy and poor families covering all governorates in the Kingdom Jordan. The aid includes parcels containing health kits, blankets and food items.

Caritas Jordan will continue to work tirelessly to fulfill its love message to the poor and needy by the good work of groups and individuals who offer medical and humanitarian services. Its message is stipulated in serving and developing humans without distinctions in race, color, gender or religion.
