Jordan: Youth dialogue session on religious harmony

The Ministry of Youth has organized a dialogue session at the Ajyal Al-Salam Theater in the Sports City, Amman, which was attended by the Minister of Youth Dr. Mohammad Abu Rumman with more than 300 young men and women from various governorates in Jordan.

The dialogue session touched on religious harmony and King Abdullah’s reception of the “Templeton Award”. The speakers in the session were Shari’a Professor Omar Al Hafi, Mr. Hussein Rawashdeh, and Director of the Catholic Center for Studies and Media in Jordan Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader.

A film was screened on His Majesty King Abdullah’s reception of the 2018 Templeton Prize at a ceremony held at the Washington National Cathedral last month. Discussion followed which highlighted Jordan’s religious harmony and the need to be emulated worldwide.
