The situation in Palestine is catastrophic for everyone— materially, mentally, and spiritually. Individuals and families are in dire need and suffering, mainly because of the difficult economic conditions, unemployment, the war on Gaza, and the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

In continuation of its program to support chaste, needy, and underprivileged families in Palestine, the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF) distributed another 55 food and health packages. Each package contains basic items such as rice, flour, oil, and other food items, along with some health materials and sterilizers, which are sufficient for six people for one month. Included in this program are the cities and towns of Birzeit, ‘Atara, Jifna, and Taybeh. This is made possible with the generous support of members of the National Presbyterian Church of Washington, DC.

Sir Rateb Rabie, HCEF President, bemoaned the tough situation impacting the safety and wellbeing of Palestinian families. He stated, “I can’t imagine how hard it has become for these families to continue their normal life. That’s why we are providing them with humanitarian aid.” Sir Rabie expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to this charitable work, especially the National Presbyterian Church – Washington, DC, as well as all the volunteers and the HCEF’s employees who made the distribution both easy and organized.

HCEF invites all to be part of its humanitarian mission. It appeals to all to help the needy families in Palestine by donating what you can afford. To donate, use the following link: https://hcef.org/programs/bscc/.
